Candy workout
5 Rounds: 20 Pull-ups, 40 Push-ups, 60 Squats
Candy is a high-volume bodyweight workout: five rounds of 20 pull-ups, 40 push-ups and 60 air squats, for 600 reps in total. The push-ups are usually the limiter, so how you break them up decides your time.

Time cap
Most gyms cap Candy at about 40 minutes. If the clock runs out, note how many reps you completed. Change the cap in the app before you start if your gym uses a different one.
Scaling options
- Reduce to 3 rounds, or halve the reps.
- Banded pull-ups or ring rows.
- Push-ups from the knees or with the hands raised on a box.
Strategy tips
- Break the push-ups into many small sets from the first round (for example sets of 8).
- Keep the squats moving: they are your recovery for the next round of pulling.
- Watch your push-up depth late in the workout; it is the first thing to slip.
